Skyrocketing interest, we filled seats for VU’s Aviation Maintenance program.

Overview:
To attract prospective students to Vincennes University's Aviation Maintenance program, Borshoff developed a comprehensive advertising campaign. The goal was to increase awareness, drive leads, and boost applications for a program that offers top-notch facilities, competitive costs, and promising career opportunities.

Challenge:
Aviation Maintenance is a specialized field that often flies under the radar for many prospective students. The challenge was to raise awareness about the program and highlight its benefits, such as lower costs compared to competitors and the high-paying job opportunities available to graduates. The campaign needed to not only inform but also inspire interest in this lucrative and vital profession.

Solution:
The campaign included a mix of out-of-home, digital ads, video production, and an enhanced campaign landing page. Additionally, the email nurturing workflow was improved to better guide potential students through the decision-making process. My role as the project manager and photographer involved creating timelines, tracking progress, coordinating the creative team's efforts, and ensuring all deliverables were on strategy. I also captured still photos for use in the OOH and digital ads.

Results:
The results exceeded expectations. Within just two months of the campaign going live, the "Power the Skies" landing page ranked as the 21st most viewed page on the vinu.edu website. It’s forecasted to become the 7th most viewed page by the campaign’s end. The program is now fully booked for the upcoming school year, with so much interest that the university is considering opening an additional class to accommodate the demand.

Conclusion:
This campaign successfully boosted awareness and interest in Vincennes University's Aviation Maintenance program, filling the program for the upcoming school year and driving significant traffic to the campaign landing page.
